Name: Marolyn Class: Paladin Race: Human Level: 66 Email:tsukasamlr at gmail.com Which members of the Knights of Valor do you know and how do you know them? Did your experience with them have any impact on why you are applying? I know Arisage as a Real life friend of mine. He's the one who suggested this guild, and is/helped me apply.
What class, race, and spec is your main character? Why do you like that class? I will soon have two 80s, Marolyn and my priest Minari. Once Marolyn hits 80, very soon, she will become my main and I will focus on her. I love the paladin class, especially paladin tanking, so much more than healing as a priest, because its different and its something thats never really the same. It all depends on the group and the instance.
Why are you hoping to join the Knights of Valor? (Specifically, what are your goals? Do you want to socialize? Raid? PvP? Loot the guild bank?) I'd like to join the Knights of Valor to socialize and meet more people after coming back from a 3 month hiatus from the game. I'd also like to be able to have guildies to be able to run instances/be there to help guildies run instances.
The Knights of Valor are currently fielding several 25-man raids each week. Assuming the raid times are compatible with the times you play, how often do you think you'd like to raid? (Be honest with us and with yourself here. Raiding effectively has inherent committments) Honestly, I wouldn't like to raid unless I'm absolutely needed. I'd just like to do 5 mans and be in a fun guild until Cataclysm, where I'll probably start raiding again.
Please describe a favorite memory you have from playing WoW. Theres so many! I've been playing this game for years, so there's a ton of memories that stick out. However..I'd have to say when I got the second Benediction, from Vanilla WoW, on the server. I was excited about the weapon, but the fun part was having half the guild out in winterspring helping to farm one of the parts needed to get the staff. It was a party, I wish times like that happened more often.
Selling crafting services to guildmates is NOT allowed. While you are not expected to provide free materials for services, under no circumstances should there be demands of payment merely for crafting. Pretend you're an enchanter for the purposes of this question. How would you respond if a guildmate asked you to enchant their gear using their materials? Of course I'll enchant <x>, don't worry about paying me anything. Where do you want to meet for it?
How much do you play WoW? Multiple days and hours each week? Oh geese...More than I should. I play everyday for at least..4-6 hours, sometimes even more than that. When I have a free day, I've been known to spend all day in the game.
What does "Raid Ready" mean to you? You've got potions, reagents, poisions if your a rogue, are at the instance/ready to be summoned, and have taken care of all RL things so you won't be interrupted.
Add anything additional you would like us to know about you. I've been playing this game for 5 years at the 5th anniversary, on and off of course. I've gone through periods of been a hardcore raider to never wanting to hear the word 'raid' ever again. But I've always been a fun player willing to help, and who knows what the heck they're doing when it comes down to it.
